Valentine’s Day Fundraiser

Valentine’s Day is around the corner, inspiring all of us to gestures of love. Here at Nadia Tamara Lee Skincare, we too have been inspired to give to those in need.

As February is the month of love and most people are focusing on their relationships and how they can make it better, there are others who are trying to redeem themselves from bad relationships.  My intention this Valentine’s day is to comfort those in need by donating to the Ernestine’s Women’s Shelter.

Ernestine’s  was founded in 1983, and was intended as a safe place for women and children fleeing violence. Since 1983, Ernestine’s has assisted over 6 000 families with critical immediate care services.

There is absolutely no obligation in donating, of course, but if you feel particularly generous this time of year, know that your gift will have an impact.

 “Every donation counts when you are fleeing from violence and abuse, and most families leave with only the clothes on their backs.”

Below are the various ways you could help.

1. A Drive

  • Gift cards

  • New Household Items

  • New Winter Coats and Boots 

Gift cards are particularly helpful as they allow the mothers to choose the special foods and gifts their families need.

2. Sponsor a Room

  • Sponsor a room for a woman

  • Sponsor a room for a woman and her children (maximum of 5 children per room)

  • Multiple Rooms

3. Make a Donation

  • Make a tax-deductible donation for a family in the shelter, or the one moving into their new home.
